Thanks Paul, Tim and Gary - I've ordered some new Polish decals (the Model-Maker ones) so this will be resurrected at some point.

You have strong principles when it come to matching references...very admirable  ;)
That's a very nice way of describing a rivet counter...... ;) ;D I am currently spending hours anguishing over the colour to paint the metalwork the Italian Nieuport 11.....

As a fellow rivet counter Nigel, I feel your pain. I have re-shelved many a project because perfection could not be achieved... then I simply chalk it down to experience and try and finish it anyways :) Would be a shame to not see this one completed, even if there is a little niggling aspect about the build. Heck, most of my builds are filled with niggles!  ;D

Cheers,

Don't worry, it will be resurrected. I bought two of the Aviattic kits with the intention of doing German and Polish versions, I shall just take what I have done so far and combine it with elements of the second kit (like the wing) to create a Polish version. I have the Model-Maker decals which gives me more options for Polish machines as well. But it won't be until later in the year.....
