Pheon 1/32 Fokker D8 jigs
« on: July 24, 2024, 10:04:49 AM »
Hi all, would anyone who has completed their Fokker D8 model and still has the jigs that came with the Pheon decal set be willing to sell them to me?  Regards, Pete in RI

Pete,
I may be able to help you with your request. Give me a day or three to rummage through my storage room/Stash shelves and I'll PM you with what results I may find.
Cheers,
Lance

Pete, if you're good with scans of the jigs LMK, I recently sent them to another forum member.

Is scanning (reproducing) the patterns for the assembly jigs included with the 1/32 Pheon Fokker E.V/D.VIII decal sheets a copyright violation? I understand that Pheon is extinct, but with Rowan's passing (whose name is the copyright on the sheets), does Sabine retain copyright? Did she transfer said to Aviattic which was to resume Pheon production? If you have set of the original adhesive-backed pattern sheets (or the assembled jig itself), the answer is quite obvious: they are yours to do with as you will, as with any legally obtained property, but copies??????

Sorry for the delayed reply Pete, family dropped in for a short notice visit.
I have located the assembled jigs however the instructions are no where to be found. The only short coming of what I have really is the second jig layout for wing attachment on which the wing support members have broken off and are nowhere to be found; I believe this would be an easy fix though, and Durch's scan would make it more or less a full solution!? This set was purchased by me directly from Pheon years ago and was used to assemble my Mikr Mir Kit.
I'd be happy to send these to you at no cost (you may owe me a beer should we ever cross paths though .......) if that helps. Let me know by PM with your mailing address and I'll get a package off to you.
Cheers,
Lance
