WnW Gotha G.I - Instructions Question
« on: October 30, 2025, 01:05:39 PM »
I'm building the WnW Gotha G.I - Option B and would like anyone's opinion as to how to interpret the instructions wrt the cut out in the nose of the fuselage (see photo).   The way I am interpreting it is for Option B you don't drill a hole but cut from the join, outwards about 2.0mm on each half, therefore, when the fuselage is joined, there is a cut out 4mm wide.

Have it got this correct or is there another explanation?

Many thanks,

Ian

I think the idea of a 4 mm high cutout is correct.
See the photo in the assembly instructions on page 6 of the original aircraft (option "B") - there you can clearly see how it should be done.

Thanks Bertl.  I thought so, but thought I'd check my logic.  Much appreciated / Ian
