1/48 Opel 3 ton truck - Italeri

Finished this up after a long sit on the shelf.  Planning to go into a diorama with a FW190, continuing an Italian theme.

Very fine. Not only the paintwork but the paint scratches are very realistic.

Thank you for the nice comments, gents.  I used AK Interactive chipping fluid with Tamiya acrylics for the main paint colors.
Not sure when I'll get back to WW1 subjects as I have a couple more shelf queens staring at me.

Agree with the comments about the paintwork. I also like the tools in the back.

Stephen.

Wow, that paint work and weathering! It just doesn't look like a model, I can't pay a higher compliment than that. Brilliant!

Thanks, Stephen, Ritchie, and Steve.  I noticed one can see through the truck at the front fenders.  I may put in an inner fender there.  I will also likely get some fuel drums and jerry cans to throw in the back.  Maybe some bombs intended for the FW190.
