Title: Ranken dart dispenser
Post by: Seahawk on December 06, 2018, 03:24:19 AM
Several of the BE2c nightfighters I am considering modelling have a dispenser for Ranken darts under the fuselage just under the pilot's seat.  It's invariably murky in photos but looks cylindrical and is angled backwards at about 45 degrees.  Does anyone have any detailed drawings or dimensions for this installation?  Eg what diameter is it (is it even round)?  Is it open-ended or does it have a "lid" at the bottom?  Are there any external release latches or cables?

NB this is apparently not the same as the RL (Royal Laboratories) tube used for launching flares.  Also I already have both the Windsock Datafiles on the BE2c.

Thanks in advance.
