HGW make something suitable but it's in 1/48 scale

No I want something raised that looks like stitching not just a tape of fabric

Archer Transfers Makes some. Somewhat costly but they are well done. Several variants per sheet but would take several to do a larger aircraft.
RAGIII
PS: Transfers with a raised (resin?) imbedded. Certainly 3 dimensional!

Thanks Rick - its for the old Matchbox Tiger Moth

There were some PE available from Eduard, but I think some are out of production right now.
I found some on ebay.
May be the are a bit big, I have used 1/72 on my 1/48 models, so may be the 1/48 will fit to 1/32 models.

Please see the nice PDF manuals for examples, how it looks like and where to use (mostly fuselage).

Thanks Frank
Eduard's PE item look they are meant to represent joins of fabric to metal or fabric to fabric on fuselages than fabric to ribs on the wings. Here is a photo which shows the stitching under the fabric

James,
You might check with Richard at Aviattic my old friend. He was kind enough to supply me with PE rib tapes for my SE-5 conversion project earlier. These Aviattic rib tapes I've used really are a major improvement for the Roden wings. I'll post photos on my Conversion thread soon,so you can see the results for yourself.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS

As suggested earlier - HGW's 1/48 rib tapes are the go. They are slightly over scale ang look just right on a 1/32 model. In fact, I used them on my 1/28 Revell Dr.1 and they looked great - I don't have pics to hand as I'm travelling, it will post some later. They go on brilliantly, are robust and look excellent under paint. Cheers Brad

Hi Brad. I need the shape of the stitching not just a tape, do the HGW ones have this?

I tend to use RB Productions Rib Stitching strips:

At 1/32, it does the job, for me, although from what I understand, you may want detail.

That looks quite good, thanks!
