Title: LVG C.VI - 7th Flying Squadron - 1919 (1/32, Wingnut Wings)
Post by: PrzemoL on October 22, 2018, 07:15:40 AM
I have a pleasure to present my version of LVG C.VI serving in spring 1919 in Polish 7th Flying Squadron in the defence of Lwów (now Lviv, Ukraine) against the Ukrainian assault.
(It is worth to note, that Lwów was for ages the tradionally Polish city and it was one of Stalin's penalties against Poland to move the USSR-Poland border in 1945 just a couple of kilometers west of the city to leave it on the Soviet side...)

But back to the model - the venerable WNW release from 2009 required some corrections and amendments - engine installations, cockpit equipment, radiator, Scale Spokes wheels, etc. All shown in detail in the build log. After all, I am quite happy to have a rather unique version of LVG, camouflaged in contrast to the majority of otherwise lovely classic bare wood/losenge versions populating the internet. I hope you will like this one, too. ;)

awesome,
a great and clean build of slightly forgotten kit of classic bird, looks great in a two-color camouflage, see the master's hand - from idea to the realization

What a beauty! I like the markings, too, those big black numbers with the white above and through it stand out really nice on the camouflage. :)
