Hello all,
I am a new member here. Altrough I am a modeler almost whole my life (from age 6 ,now 47),I have never been interested in WWI aviation. Well, changes comes this year, with this model build.
Eduard Se-5a is a great model, maybe a little complicated for someone, like me, who build airplane from this period for a first time. Anyway, construction was a real "joyride",so ,next WWI project will come soon.
Every comment or criticism is more than welcome from you guys.
Thanks for watching...

Welcome! :) And a great looking entry it is! :)

Beautifully done Pedja, the subtle treatment of the rib shading, the lovely cleanly finished paint work, the detail and it just goes on! Great work and more so given it's your first venture in the WW.I subject genre.
Cheers,
Lance

If that is your first, what will subsequent models look like? That is an excellent first - as Lance has written there is much to praise. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in future.

Saw this model already on scalemates, this is a nice start into WWI subjects! But one can see, that you are an experienced modeler.
Since I build this kit at the moment I know the work you have done.
Cheers,

Whoa - that is GREAT. Especially for a first venture into WWI. I really like the "green tone" and the contrast of the color on the underside of the wings. I think the subtle shading is very well done.

Welcome to the wonderful world of biplane models. It sounds like you have similar history to me. I fell into this stuff at the end of 2017, and found it incredible!
Your Se5a looks fantastic!!!

An outstanding model Pedja! Any of us would be proud to have produced a model as fine as yours. The SE5a is my favourite WW1 aircraft and the Eduard kit is outstanding. Well done and best wishes for your next builds.
Welcome to the highly addictive world of WW1 aircraft modelling!
