So Cool!!!!!
-
Very nice, really looking forward (really drooling) for their release.
-
wasn't planning on building a Pere Dorme bus, but now i have to (i'm assuming box art reflects supplied markings)... was always planning on doing a Nungesser bus.
hopefully they've got some figures of these guys in the pipeline.
i'm also hoping that Boyau's bus with the snake on the side figures in somewhere...
this will be an epic release.
-
Hope they sell shed-loads of this this aircraft and are encouraged, as a result thereof, to do more 1/32 subjects, including the Fokker Dr.1 that WNW seems to be so hesitant to produce.

i'm hoping for a SPAD... XII.
a XIII would be nice too.
in other news, they mentioned doing figures of French pilots to release at the same time. haven't seen too many figures of French aces aside from Guynemer, so that's good news.
-
Well from what I heard, they will do Mechanics and Pilots, but aces a bit later

Hear, Hear!!
As an aside, the superb box art shown above benefits (greatly) from the simplest enhancements from any photo program. Anyone know who the artist is?

Great box art, Edgar. Have you considered selling prints of these suitable for framing? I would definitely buy some for my work shop. Of course I will be ordering each version of the Ni. 17.

If the Model matches the quality of the box art (and I'm certain it will!) we are in for a real treat. Well done Edgar and the Team at Copper State!
Cheers,

I see some news are spreading pretty fast
This are not the final markings, some small details are already changed
-
I wonder if that early 17 with the red star is a Russian Civil War machine?

No the red star was the first symbol of the french escadrille (squadron) 103. in 1917, a new symbol (a stork) was adopted

Copper State has followed the Nieuport 17 boxart release with a detail photo of the forthcoming French mechanics and pilots to complement the 1/32 kits.

Appears Edgar is not as active here as he used to be.

Looks like the N77 and N3 profiles are mixed up in the photos 8)
Beautiful choices of Markings for the kits. Bring them on soon Please !

Congrats to Edgar and his team at CSM, let me tell you this: indeed you're filling in the gap in the WWI niche modeling with such a unique line of products, WNW will now sweat their paints to a serious competitor.

the 2 nieuport 17 kits are on the CSM site, 67 euros each

Ordered one of each!
-
I also ordered one of each, which will make 3 nieuport kits for me, having the hobbycraft kit, with Billy Bishop's markings, hidden somewhere in the stash. Think when they do arrive, I will work on the hobbycraft kit in conjunction with one of them to make it more accurate. Also made a request for the new Nieuport book. Now that I think of it, guess I should order that newish book on Albert Ball. So much for saving up some money.

Ordered my late!!

Nice presentation.
-
Just wondering if there is any news of shipping for those who preordered? TIA
-
As far as I remember, Edgar has posted somewhere that all preordered Nieuports will be shipped before he'll be off for Telford. I am expecting mine very, very soon.
-
That's what I remember Edgar said, about shipping pre-orders before he set off for Telford. Most of the time, it
gets here to central Kansas within a week, which I feel is amazing. Can't wait to get mine.
