Thompson trophy air races! they had all kinds ,loved it.put together from the aurora kit in the 50s dehaviland dh4,saw it at the museum, lately been working on solid wood models and stick and tissue models I build from plans on line, plastic models have helped me with details,i also love painting toy soldiers, for model dioramas, make my own materials for that. I live in Bishopville,sc and would like to start a airplane model club here, made a se5a, camel, fokker e 3 from scratch scale around 1/72 first two and fok is 1/48.
