Title: Kingston and Sopwith
Post by: davewad on January 14, 2018, 11:59:40 AM
I don't know if many of the forum members are aware of this site which I found while searching through the web the other day. I was after information on Aldis sights and came across the following:

https://www.kingstonaviation.org/100-years-ago/1917.html

Lots of interesting images of Pups, Camels, 1½ Strutters et al and also a decent image of an Aldis fitted to a Pup (scroll about a third of the way down the page which the link opens to see the image).

Hope this is of interest.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks very much for the link, I have only just touch the surface but what I have read so far is extremely interesting.

Splendid discovery, Dave.
I intended a quick glance, but I'm hooked. I'm into February already!
Thanks for posting.

Saved! Great find Dave.
The Pup with retractable gear and folding wings is very interesting.
