Title: Humbrol #107 WWI Purple Replacement
Post by: KirkH on December 08, 2017, 02:01:56 AM
I'm looking to build the Roden Junkers D1 and it requires Humbrol #107 WWI Purple for the upper wing surfaces however Humbrol no longer makes that color.  Does anybody have any suggestions for a replacement?  Thanks.

I am pretty sure Drooling Bulldog makes this color and perhaps MRP and AK Interactive. If you want to stick to Humbrol there is a formula for mixing the color on the WNW Albatros DV instructions. Available On Line.

1 part Humbrol 68 + 2 parts Humbrol 29.

Thanks for the input guys.  I really like Humbrol paints so I'll probably go with doing the mix as suggested by the Wingnut Wings folks.
