Mark Davies has found a Photobucket fix - direct links to get free extensions for Firefox and Chrome browsers to delete the Photobucket ransom demand and restore the original images. Just follow this link to see Mark's posting.

It works! In my browser at least. If I can see my embedded pictures stored in Photobucket in another forum. Can others see it as well, or do they have to install the add-on too?

They have to install the add on too. It didn't work the first time I tried it but it's been fine since.

Is there a fix for the Safari browser on Apple iPads/iPhones? I have it installed on my laptop, but it's frustrating not to see the images on my iPad.

Not as far as I'm aware. Check the Apple Itunes Apps store.
