Double rigging... in 1/144 scale...      (slowly picks jaw up off the floor, rubs the bruise from where it hit hard)

Wonderful work, thank you for treating us to this!

Such damn small scale - and your scratched mini SE.5a looks really like a SE.5a! :o
And because I'm build a SE.5a in 1/48 scale at the moment, I know some details - and I found all of them on your model. Simply unbelievable!

Cheers,
Frank

Thank you very much for your kind words, Lance!

Last weekend I joined a scale model show in Brno (the second largest modelling event in Czechia). There was a party in the evening and by the time of the dusk I spotted that the S.E. standing on the table was flooded in the evening sunlight. I really like this photo so I could not resist from sharing it. ;)

That looks fantastic! The variations of color in the weathering, the proper scale thickness of rigging, the amazingly well done scratch building of the fuselage and wings, the hand carved prop, etc., etc., all add up to a masterpiece that most will never be able to equal!!

That is a very generous comment, George, many thanks!

Talking about the variations of colour in the weathering, they are there thanks to your advice to use the oil paints, so once again thank you for the tip! It really helps the final look big time.

Cheers
