Title: German Aircraft Album Discovered

Apparently the album was found in the estate of an old lady.
There are quite a few interesting snaps of crashes - presumably from training facilities - and airmen. Apparently the owner had no connection to any airmen or such, so the origin of the photos is unknown.

There is some lovey stuff in there, including an excellent taxiing accident

The RFC/RNAS equivalent photos usually feature the unfortunate pilots standing fair and square in the middle of the photos

Thank you for posting this Hawa, excellent pictures.

I especially like the last one, very evocative.
Mind you I can't be the only one thinking of a superimposed gunsight centred on the target! Must be a view Jimmy McCudden often saw after his early morning climb to 20,000 feet to wait above the unsuspecting invaders.
