Title: Royal Flying Corps - Carts
Post by: kkarlsen on May 13, 2017, 06:43:12 PM
Hi, I'm trying to find information on carts used by the Royal Flying Corps during WW1.

I have found a couple of photos showing, the RFC using carts, but I'm not sure if they
were standard issued carts or just some 'makeshift' carts the ground crews would put
together. Any information/photos on the subject would be very much appreciated!

Thanks: Kent

Given the second shot shows a cart fitted with what look suspiciously like aircraft wheels, I'd guess it was made locally using items at the airfield.
