Title: Happy Birthday to me!
Post by: coyotemagic on February 12, 2017, 08:18:54 AM
For my birthday, Carol got me the Ship's Camel and I bought the Le Rhone.  Both from Section 8 Hobbies.  They arrived in less than a week.  I'm afraid they're now out of stock.

Can't wait to get started!
Cheers,
Bud

All the "very best" on your Birthday, Bud! I'm still waiting on my pre-order with Hobby Link Japan, and looking forward to following some of the Builds of the lucky ones who got the early issues here.
Cheers,
Lance

Well, I still have a project or two to clear before starting on these and if the FK.8 gets here soon, it goes to the front of the line.  Still, I'm itchin' to get going on them.  May do a multi project with a couple 1/48 scale Camels thrown in for kicks.
Cheers,
Bud

Thank you, Lance!  It was a wonderful birthday.  I pre-ordered the Bentley from Weta and, of course, that one has not arrived yet.  I'm betting at least a month out.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks for the birthday grettings, fellas!  Just got Barracuda wicker seats for both.  The seats are exactly the same size as the kit seats.  Roy must've fixed 'em.  They look fantastic.
My only disappointment that with the Camel kits is that the 2F.1 comes with markings for Culley's L.53 killer, N-6812, but without the dual Lewis mountings on the center section.  Does anyone have any good photos or drawings of this feature?
Cheers,
Bud
