This is my WnW Pfalz D.XII, for some reason this kit has not proven very popular, there has been a lack of build logs and completed model photos. It is a brilliant kit and very easy to build, here is my complete build log;

Another stunning beauty from your stable, Des. I love the simplicity and elegance of this one. Your attention to detail has always been amazing.

Hello all,
Thanks Des for the attention ....... still a fantastic models, one of my favorite with the Voisin III, I am suppose to
receive my 1/72 Eastern Express Pfalz DXII this week and I got the '' Parts photo-etch set '' for that kit, soon after
my Pup I will start this kit , I got one question about the color of the lozenge ..... it is me or the color '' lozenge '' you have
use ..... have or got some blue more blue then the five usually colored lozenge ...... how many kind of colored
lozenge exist in the reality, for now I know some under and upper 4 and 5 colors plus one naval and one nocturne
for the bomber .... is there any more type of lozenge, I am lost with all those thing my English is not good and I
am afraid to have miss-understand all that variation ,type and number of color
Have a nice modeling times

Great build, Des! I will look through your build log with great interest as I am now building my WNW D.XII.
And as an addition, a couple of shots of my older build - Toko's 72nd scaler.

Whoa! Look at the pitch on the prop!
Anything wrong with it?

Great model's gents and both to your usual standards ;)

Absolutely gorgeous Pfalz, Prez. As always with your models, it's hard to believe she's 1/72 scale. Amazing work, my friend.
Cheers,
Bud

Ok I mised a bunch of builds along the line. Amazing work gentlemen and at opposite ends of the scale spectrum too!!

For some reason I thought I had commented yesterday on these Lovely builds. Both are Stunning! Just what one would expect from two VERY TALENTED MODELERS!

Great models Des and Prez: I agree, this just didn't catch on like some of their other kits and it is a great model. Goes together well, lots of color and schemes. My photo's aren't the greatest but here they are. This is the WNW kit with Rowan's Markings.

I think this was their first kit with the "Cookie Cutter" lozenge decals and engine serial numbers. Really a nice kit.
Enjoy
-
Mark,
This is your usual Beautiful assembly, painting, decaling, and rigging! Thanks for sharing!!

I don't remember seeing this one before Mark, she's an absolute beauty! I have this one "on ice" and have the Pheon Sheet as well. For now I'm settled on the same scheme as you've done; really an eye catcher.
Cheers,
Lance

Superb D.XII's Des, Prze and Mark! Darn, now I will have to put
that one on my want list also. Oh heck. ;) ;D
Cheers,
Ernie :)

Another two beautiful models, Prze with your amazing 1:72 scale beauty and Mark with your gorgeous WnW model, it's so good to see the different scales being displayed..

Thanks for the compliments guys, duly appreciated to be sure and keeps the motivation levels up there.
@ Des: Like you, I am surprised this kit has not been featured more. It is an attractive model with a host of attractive schemes. A very straightforward build with no "gotchas" anywhere. I am going to do another one as it is one of my favorites and there are so many schemes for it. I too like seeing the different scales and manufacturers represented. Makes it interesting indeed.
@ Lance: Thanks Lance. I highly recommend it. I built it OOB, I know you could really do some magic with your weathering techniques etc. It is a great kit.
@ Ernie: Go for it. I can't recommend it enough. Even the rigging is easy, save for one little piece coming off the top wing to the side of the fuselage, takes a little planning on that bugger.
@ Rick: Thanks again for stopping by and your compliments. Always appreciated.

Stunning Pfalz, Mark! Very eye catching scheme. As always, you've done a fantastic job, buddy.
Cheers,
Bud

Very nice D.XII, Mark!
And a couple of shots of mine, WNW, finished some two years ago...

HEllo Prez: I really admire your use of oils on your models. The weathering is just right and doesn't detract from the model. I keep plugging away at it. Great job on this one. It is a great kit.
