Title: Caudron G.IV Escadrille C202 red devil
Post by: arek on August 02, 2016, 06:26:15 AM
Hello,
I'm looking for an answer to a bit frustrating question. Red devil carrying cannon, which was an emblem of C202 is painted on a restored G.IV in a Musee in Paris. Unfortunatelly, while I compare  this with a photo no.41 in a Windsock Datafile monograph it looks a little different to a one from a period photo, specially comparing  to layout of hands and legs. Does anyone can help me with other photo of  the devil on caudron G.IV or tell me about any other source where I can find any?  I'm not sure if restoration done in 80's was really accurate...
I will be very grateful for any help, thank you
