Title: Curtiss D-12 monograph
Post by: uncletony on April 12, 2016, 02:29:17 AM
This is really cool -- a treatise on the Curtiss D-12 aero engine published by The Smithsonian in 1972. Although not employed until after hostilities ended, design work started in 1915 so it is of interest to folks here, I think. Interesting background and useful images of some of the competition, as well, including a nice cross-section of the Hispano-Suiza 150hp.
