I need some help. I am building a 1/72 scale Pfalz D.IIIa. What brand of 1/72 scale lozenge decal would be the most accurate? I understand that Pfalz used the 5 color lozenge but there are wide variations between decal sheets. Was the Pfalz lozenge darker than Albatros or Fokker? Thanks Jim

You can't go wrong with Aviattic's lozenge decals. I'd go for the joined version for the wings as that will have the correct overlap of the pattern.

I agree completely with Ian! You can also vary the coloration by what base you use. White or beige undercoats give different color perceptions. Have fun!
