This started out as the 1/48 Special Hobby Schneider and ended up as a Baby.
Those of us who were banned from the Aerodrome during the Troubles may have to resort to trickery to see the build log.

Thanks, Steve. I guess it's really a kit-bash, not a true conversion. Sure was fun, though.

Bud,
Being only a very occasional visitor to the Aerodrome in the past this is the first time I've seen this. Thanks for sharing with this posting, very nice and impressive build.

Thanks, Lance. I just went back and looked at the build log for the first time since being shot down. It really was fun.

My Baby is from Eduard and in 72nd scale.
As you must know, this is a rather crude kit, one of first Eduard ones. It had many errors which had to be addressed:
wrong tailplane shape, wrong cockpit opening, almost non-existent interior, all the struts were PE and wrong length. Definitely not for a beginner but can be built into a nice model with some care and work.

Truly stunning, Prez! She's a beauty. Thank you for posting this one, my friend.

Bud

This is without a doubt, my favourite of yours Prez. Astounding craftsmanship!

Another great model Prez! Good to see another Baby.

Both of these builds are inspiring. I find the preciousness of Prez's 1/72nd scale masterpiece especially appealing, but I don't want to take anything away from Bud's wonderful bashed project which captures this great subject beautifully.

Przemol,
My old friend this is another awe inspiring project. Love every tiny bit of it too.

Many thanks, everybody, for your kind comments. I am glad I could join the company of Bud's great model presented above.

This is so realistic, you nailed the perfect shade of weathered fabric and wood.
