Siskin,
Outstanding project my old friend. I have the same kit I intended to use as a guide for a 1/32 scale scratch build project. The project never got very far before being put away though, but maybe someday. The Spin kit is a wonderful kit too and your work so far shows this perfectly. Keep up the outstanding progress and keep us posted.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Excellent work so far Siskin, a very unusual aeroplane but very well known, looking forward to seeing more progress on this build.

Great job on the oddity ;) I have the same kit in my stash - so can you tell me, please is it any good?

I would not say that this model is easy to assemble. On the contrary - in my practice this is the worst model. I'm got tired of it)))

Meanwhile - the filling is made and painted the gondola.

Looking great Siskin. That gondola is not a place I'd like to be standing, the swinging prop is just a little too close ??? ???

Great stuff. One of my favorite WWI airplanes.

Siskin,
Congratulations my friend she's an outstanding A4. Beautifully constructed, painted and weathered. A special tip of the hat for choosing such a rare type for this project.

PS: It would be great if someone came up with a SPAD A2/4 in 1/32 scale!

What a great model Siskin! I`m going to follow your thread when I decide to pull mine out of the closet.
Shading and weathering is very well balanced and I really like it much better in Russian markings.
The only aspect of your work I don` t like is rigging - not entirely your fault but I would change the material you use next time.
IMHO it simply looks a little bit too thick. But that`s only my opinion. Apart from that the model is superb!
I deeply admire your skills mate!
-
I agree with you- brace bit thickish. Although it is possible that such an effect on the photos are the paired braces.
