Title: Wingnuts Box Art
Post by: Pgtaylorart on September 29, 2015, 04:12:06 PM
Many of us have noted that the paintings on the Wingnuts boxes are very nice, especially the most recent Bristol F2b. I had this idea that it would be great if WnWs offered high quality prints of these paintings suitable for framing without all the graphics on the box.

Do they, or the artist already offer something like this? Or is it something they might consider offering if we show enough interest? I know they don't exactly respond to customer requests, but it's worth a try. Or maybe I'm alone in wanting prints... ???

You can email Steve Anderson via his website http://www.anderson-art.com/ (http://www.anderson-art.com/) for info.

Good luck!

You may also run into Steve on FB if you are a member of any of the WWI modeling interest groups ;)

I've been to Steve's website and he has a lot of great paintings, but it doesn't appear that he sells the WnWs paintings. I'm sure Steve doesn't own the rights to do that since he's sold them to WnW. From my days as an illustrator, the client buys the rights to print your artwork in one specific useage, unless they do a complete buyout. I'll send out a few emails and see if I get a response.
