Title: Curtiss OX-5
Post by: Tomek on July 14, 2012, 12:41:59 AM
Below some shots of the Curtiss OX-5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtiss_OX-5) taken at the Cradle of Aviation (http://www.cradleofaviation.org) in Garden City, NY.  The engine is part of the Curtiss JN-4 Jenny display.

An excellent lot of photos, thank you for posting, all we need now is for Wingnuts (or someone) to bring out a Jenny in 1:32 scale.

I have one of those buried in a pile somewhere as well; wish I could still enjoy the smaller scale. In the interim a 1/32 Jenny (or here Canuck) would be great!
Cheers,
Lance

Great photos! I also have a Lindberg Jenny for a future project. Duplicating the valve train on the engine in 1/48 promises to be an exercise in eye strain. The Jenny is another significant type overdue for new tooled kits in the larger scales. The Model Airways kit is tempting.
