Oh yes, Mark's Taube is stunning. I've seen in numerous times and it never gets old. He is a true master modeler (and a friend).

Again, Thanks Amigo for the help !

Thanks for posting these, Amigos! I remember Mark's Taube from another forum and it is a beauty. I even saved the build log for future reference. His is the Copper State Taube and the finest rendering of this kit that I've ever seen. I've got one in the stash and I hope mine turns out one tenth as nice.
Cheers,
Bud

Very much deserved recognition for a spectacular model; I'd love to see more photos.

It looks even better in person. Photos are sometimes a "leveler", nothing compares to the Mk I eyeball !

Hopefully there will be a NATS ( or OTF) that is close to us or coincides with a vacation trip and we can meet up again.

Will you be able to make it to the Over the Front Symposium at San Jose State on September 19, Ed? I think the organizers cc'd you on this, didn't they? We're doing a model show and contest like we did in Monterey. Should be fun. I'm going to post the particulars here on the forum as soon as I have more info.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks for the link to the photos, Bud. I now see even more clearly how this beauty got "THE" Award; fantastic work and scratch wire wheels, in 1:48............priceless. Having pored over the photos I'll go on record as saying my last whining comment about the trials of rigging a DH.2 has been issued! Just an absolute pleasure to view! :) :)
