Title: Udetīs "Du Doch Nicht" and the Breguet crew
Post by: croas on June 28, 2015, 04:48:32 AM
While thinking of all the discussions for establishing/guessing the colors and markings for Du Doch Nicht, I wonder if the report filled by the crew of the Breguet involved in the 28 June engagement with Udet has ever been looked for.

Udet got very close to the Breguet during the fight ("about twenty meters"), so the crew must have had a good look at their oponent - particularly the observer. And the colors of the Fokker may very well have been included in their post-flight report.

Is anybody aware if any researcher has ever tried to dig that report ?  Determining the identity of the crew needs to come first.
That would be such a welcome input to anyone interested in building Du Doch Nicht ! !
