Title: Joystick Lloyd CII and Aviatik BII
Post by: JamesAPrattIII on June 01, 2015, 12:31:54 PM
I have just got the Joystick Lloyd CII and Aviatik BII. I am thinking of painting them as the instructions say. has anyone built models of these kits before? I my want to do some alternate paint scheme and markings. Also does anyone know anything about the service careers of the aircraft; Lloyd CII 42.17 '2' and Aviatik BII 32.19

LLoyd CII
Fuselage and fin Dark varnished ply
Wings and horizontal tail surface NVF
engine panels NMF
wing tips red-white -red
crosses on white background

Aviatik BII
fuselage: natural varnished ply (straw colored) looks like NVF
wings: NVF

from Jack herris book "Aviatik aircraft of WW I
Aviatik BII profiles
32.12 NVF wings and fuselage grey metal panels, red white red wing tips, rear fuselage and tail iron crosses wings and rudder aircraft with Flek 8

"Annie AV-24 with Flik 3 as above with no iron crosses

Av-18 with Flik 8 as Annie Av-24

I am thinking of getting the Peter Grosz book on Austro-Hungarian army aircraft by ILL for more information
