Hi Guys,
We are working up our fourth Wingnut Modelling Special for publication later this year. It describes an in-depth build of the early G.IV version and will include many close- up photos, new profiles, drawings and tech reports to aid those building this fine model. Even though we had a good head start our model is far from finished but I thought you might enjoy a recent WIP image.
Be warned-this is no quick-build and you should be prepared for many hours of enjoyable and challenging modelling!
Cheers,
Ray R.

Hi James,
We are hoping for publication in a few months but the model is such that it is taking time to complete. I reckon it has so far taken me as much input as three D.VIIs so far. Mind you the efforts will be rewarded for it's a spectacular model
-right up there with the Felixstowe.
More anon...
Cheers,
Ray
-
Looking forward to this Ray. Your model looks fantastic

Hi Guys,
Just another WIP snap of the AEG feature model. Once the fuselage unit is finally :P done, it's merely a matter off hanging the wings-phew!
Cheers,

All the best,
Bob :)

I will also be looking forward to reading the completed volume on this build special Ray.
I like what you have done with the cockpit propeller guards, as the kit parts looked a little too heavy .
Best wishes for the rest of the build, it really looks quite amazing.
Dave in Sandland ;)

I'm really enjoying watching the build and you're certainly achieving something special here, Ray. Whether or not I get the kit, I'll certainly be buying the build guide.
Best wishes

Beautiful - love the fuel lines on the struts from fuselage to the engines and the wooden frame from the bomb sight, also the flare gun opening on the nose!
-
The decaling of the lozenge looks superb.
It'll be worth buying just to see how that's done!
-
Hi Guys,
