Nice to see a less common type here, very nicely done, Xan. I really like the lower fuselage weathering and the rigging is very well done.
Cheers,
Lance

Lovely Parasol, Xan.

Here is mine, built 6 years ago: 1/72, AZ Model, depicts Roland Garros's mount from April 1915

The required modifications:
1. Removing of a rather crude imitation of surface on wings and elevator – it rather reminded the bands better known from a younger sister of L – MS406. On this occasion some more work with sandpaper will do good for too thick trailing edges.
2. Filling the cut-out in the trailing edge of the wing over the cockpit.
3. Shortening of the front section of the fuselage by some 1.5 mm.
4. Reshaping of the undercarriage to a wide V-struts version.
5. Addition of carburator intakes, gun mount, control horns for elevator and rudder, propeller deflectors and fixing points for wing rigging and twisting cables.
6. Substitution of a 7-cylinder Gnome engine with a white-metal 9-cylinder Le Rhone from Aeroclub.
7. Adding some elements for the imitation of internal structure in the cockpit (though little of this is visible under the “Parasol”).
