I left photobucket years ago because of all the issues I was having, I am now with picasa and have found them to be excellent with a huge amount of free storage, and very easy to use.

Sorry Guy, can't help you with your lost photos, maybe someone with more photobucket experience will help out.

Des.

I too abandoned Photobucket. Too cumbersome and they always want something from you. I use Picasa with little problems, and they have a great iPhone and iPad app so that I can easily get photos to them via those devices. I used my iPhone to take, quickly edit and upload the Roland C.II photos I put up today, then grabbed the URL from Picase and pasted them into my post. All you have to do is copy the URL from Picasa, then add [ IMG ] to the beginning of it, and [ /img ] to the end. Ka-Pow! Done.
(*** note: don't put the spaces around (between the bracket and letter) the IMG or /IMG. I had to do that here so the posting software wouldn't think I was specifying and image address.)

Ah thanks,

That sounds good - I've just started another account with photobucket - but I do find the whole thing very buggy - will have a look at your suggestion  ;)

it happened to me too, but it is nothing to worry about.
You see, Photobucket, let you have some limited space AND limited bandwidth for free.
Now, your post is viewed by a lot of people, and if your picture are looked at very much (thus becoming very popular in their terms) the generate a lot of traffic and you exceed the bandwidth they let you use for free. Fortunately, this situation ends with the turn of the month when the bandwidth counter will be resetted.
No use in deleting old images as I did too >:( as this will free space but not bandwidth and you will have to restore them if you want them to appear again in your posts.

Hope this helps.
ciao
