It looks like the Parabellum lMG (not the /17, as that is obvious) was hidden behind some glass for protection, yes?
Do you have more detail photos to share?

These were indeed behind glass with a lot of glare, not well lit, and thus very difficult to photograph. Unfortunately these are the best of have of this one. These aren't great photos but I thought some of them might be useful anyway.

Thanks for the photos, Bo. Nice!
Cheers,

Well these will certainly help me a lot.....many thanks, Bo.
Once I have more info actually in hand I can decide on which guns will be most appropriate.
I'm going to write to Costas at Gaspatch just to see if by chance these are in the pipe line.
The main photo is a Godsend of info. I almost feel I can do the whole scene based just on it as there are plenty of clues as to dimensions.
Cheers!

Something I didn't comprehend when I took these -- the MG14 in the upper photos has a solenoid attached to the trigger, apparently for some kind of remote firing system. The placards at the museum may have mentioned this; I don't remember... Anyway, not something to duplicate for most WWI defensive armament installations :)
Edit: fixed typo in first sentence to make it comprehensible

Thanks for posting those up Bo. Great shots.
