Title: Best paint for RFC roundel blue
Post by: Chip on August 05, 2014, 04:58:45 PM
I am now working on a Bristol Scout, not sure which serial to use but it will be one of the 4 that James McCudden flew in England in 1917.

I am never sure which is the most acurate representation for the roundel blue - can anyone advise please?

Chris, I am pretty sure that Mister kit makes an RAF roundel blue. I have a Match I like in another brand  but will need to look at the jar to get the specifics.

Hi Ric

Thanks for your reply.

After making this request I realised that probably decals would be the more usual solution although at 1/6 this option is unfortunately not open  for me.

I have just googled the subject and there are many results (should have done that first !!)
