Hi guys!
have a look at this article.
A Newport replica crashed near Rome, Italy, last sunday.
The plane was flying at low altitude when, apparently, the engine failed. It chrash landed in a field and nobody but the pilot was injured. The pilot hit the dasboard with the face and was carried in hospital in serious condition.
I wish him a prompt recovery and not to loose his passion for flight and WWI aircraft!

That Nieuport 11 crash does indeed look serious- I hope the pilot makes a full recovery, but given the damage to the aircraft it looks like it hit the ground pretty hard and I suppose he's fortunate to have survived the impact.

Goodness me, that does look bad! Our thoughts have to go for the pilot and his family.
Best wishes
