Hi,
I need Your help once again.
I've prepared nozzle for IMG08 Spandau - I noticed, that this simple element cannot be adequate reproduced in plastic kits - those characteristic thread on the end of the nozzle.
I've a lot of pix of this element from the internet, but I don't know who is an author. I need on epix on the blister. Maybe You have some Your own pix of this element?
Of course I can guarantee some suprice for a man who help me :)
Best regards, Lukasz

Thanks - great materials. Unfortunately it's plans of LMG08/15 NOT IMG08 (early type of spandau, used in e.g. Fokkers eindeckers, Roland CII). I'm looking for some picture of IMG08 nozzle - I need a picture for blister. Important: I need picture with copyright - last time james allows me to use his photo (thanks once again James!).
Thanks, Lukasz

Lovely work. I was happy with a length of brass tube till I saw these.
I was just looking at the new WNW D.Va archive pics and the last few close ups show the Maxims with their flash suppressors removed and they look just like this too ;D more options for you.
Compiling an order of bits n decals for my new D.Va (OAW) soon. ;)

are you giving up on 1/48? i see almost all 1/48 products are "out of stock" i have 3 of your mercedes d.1 this is a beautiful engine and we really are lucky you made this for us. what about timing gear, valves and lifters for 1/48 eduard mercedes d.iii series. the eduard engine is very soft details and the vector, pavla and roden engines in 1/48 wont fit in the engine compartment for eduard, special hobby, karaya, or mirage kits. maybe even a set with the timing gear, valves, lifters, magnetos and compression column for 1/48 mercedes 160hp d.iii/180hp d.iiia/200 hp d.iiiau which would fit on eduard engine block .
-
my exact point justin and special hobby et al engine compartments are all to small to fit vector or pavla engines. why not some resin parts to dress up the eduard sized top end?
-
Justin brings up a good point. do we as scale modelers want to use a highly detailed resin engine that is 1/8" too short so it fits the Eduard fuselage without modification or should we modify the fuselage to accept the correct sized engine? I remember the original Eduard Albatros D.V kit had a white metal engine that was the correct size, but soft on detail. When they did the new tool Albatros D.III and D.V they came out with the smaller plastic engines, not sure why they did this but it has been this way for them ever since.
