Hello All,
Well...I'm calling her done. I might do a bit of weathering with the airbrush, but my compressor just died so that was a sign! Basically out of the box except for vacuforming the right cowling. I'm quite pleased with it since it's the first one I've tried to make turnbuckles for. A learning experience, but my next will be better. I also added a bit of tubing to the generator...forgot that bit.

Thanks to all for looking and thanks to Des for running this site. Without all of those tips he gives and all these lovely models to look at, I'd still be building Legos. ;)

Beautifully done Dan, you have achieved a great result with an excellent overall finish. Your rigging is superb, I have enough trouble doing it in 1:32 scale but you have nailed it in 1:48 scale. Congratulations on a job very well done, you have a model to be very proud of.

I almost hate to see this one all done. It's been a fantastic thread to follow along with from start to finish. Outstanding First Class Craftsmanship , details , paint and weathering my old friend.Congratulations job well done.
