went to the Museum today for some presentations from "Over the Front" folks.. very informative and entertaining.. They had a few WW I planes on display.. Here's some photos of the Fokker DR.I for your viewing pleasure... ;)

I must say that seeing a Fokker Triwing "in the Flesh" is really inspiring and gives one a great perspective and appreciation of the Bird...

Nice shots, good to see but I feel I must stress this is a replica and shouldnt be used as reference for building. Still great to see.

I thought as such Keith., But I liked seeing it nonetheless..
You should see all the restored WW 2 Planes in the Museum.. they have a ME 163!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing the photos replica Fokker Dr.I. Someone did an outstanding job her,just too bad they couldn't have installed the correct engine and tail skid. I would imagine the genuine article as far as her engine goes would be next to impossible in actual airworthy condition. I'd love to see this bird in flight. One quick question,is that a Curtiss Biplane in the background?
