Hello! Begin to build a model of the Nieuport-XI from Amodel. While little has been done, but time is short, I need to have time before the end of April.
In the model used as the donor of Special Hobby - her flaws more)))

Hello Siskin:
I have another one of these in the stash. It looks like you are off to a good start. You managed to use the kit seat to good effect. Where did you get those resin bits that I see? They look to be pretty good stuff.
Looking forward to seeing how you work through this. I have seen this kit on ebay, and am tempted to pick it up.

Nice start.

Resin parts - a set of Special Hobby. I backcrossed these two models to achieve a better result.

(If I correctly translated))) - the tension of bracing wires on remain after the installation racks of the chassis. It has already been tested;)

(http://s30.postimg.org/vbdyvkwtp/image.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/vbdyvkwtp/)
it is the air intake for the carburetor
-
Thank you, Bo. I understand it is not standard.
-
You mean the rubber looking one leading up toward the upper wing? I imagine that's a breather pipe. non standard.
-
On our forum there was speculation that this drainage tank.
-
Sorry was looking at wrong 'pipe'. Tank breather makes sense to me too.

Thanks for the help colleagues. Maybe I will do the tube.

On the picture is Russian pilot?
I have book "Rusian Aces of the World War 1" if I will know the name of piolt maybe I will find something about this improvement.

In fact, the engine paint is very simple - first automotive paint nitro silver, then supermetallik from Gunzе (№ 215 and № 217) exhaust manifolds. Then pour the entire motor washing it - black (Tamiya enamel) and drip oil (MIG).

No, I found it a worthy replacement that does not require surface preparation - a nitropaint car SPIES HECKER

The cowl looks great, and no surface prep is a plus. Good find.
