I remember seeing an online build (not sure where?) of a person adding extra details to one of WNW's D.III engines. It wasn't Bertl if that what your thinking. He is detailing a D.IIIa I believe.
Can someone point me to that thread on detailing a D.III?
Thank you. ;)

Your belief is correct - Bertl is superdetailing a DIIIa, to be seen

I think it was at the Great War in the air forum, that is now offline... :(

I think your right. :(
Would anyone have a pictures from that build saved?

Chuck, this link will take you to the full build of the Albatros that Bertl did back in 2010 - 2011, there are 39 pages so will take a lot of reading but it does have the engine build as well. It is a shame but a lot of the photos are missing.

Ah, very nice!
Did you replace the coolant line (I think that's what it is) on the opposite side of the engine? If you did, what size of micro nuts looked scale where the line goes into the cylinder sleeve?

Due to the very inappropriate and unjust treatment by Andrew toward me on the GWA forum when I was half owner, no reference or links to that particular forum will ever be allowed on my forum.
If you are not happy with my decision please contact me by email or PM and I will explain in detail.
