Did this one during my cancer treatments and recovery. It's one of the best and most trouble free Wingnut Wings builds I have done. I'm posting a select few photos of the finished and in progress model:

Three very nice models and the Lewis mg mount in Eindeckers' is a gem by itself. Compliments to you all.
Regards.
Giuseppe
-
Outstanding work on your Roland Eindecker! Beautiful in all aspects of the build!
RAGIII
-
Giuseppe & RAGIII, thank you. This build took a long time, which is a lesson for me. Don't rush things. Pay attention to the little things. I could have done the Lewis mount with more finesse and attention to scale, but it turned out fine. I have a number of Bob's Buckles which I will use on my next rigging attempts. Perhaps the Eindecker I.

Here's my Airfix 1:72 effort...not as good as some here, but I think it's a slight improvement on the basic kit!
The nose was lengthened by 1.5mm and a Choroszy resin engine "installed", scratchbuilt interior and undercarriage using Barracuda resin Albatros wheels, wingtips and centre section cutouts were corrected for shape, and new tail surfaces added from plastic sheet. All the surface detail was removed and replaced where necessary with thin card or tape. A Miniworld Parabellum rounds it off. I do need to redo the side windows to get them to fit a little better - you've got to love today's photographic cameras for showing up all the bad bits!

The side windows have since been fitted properly and are now flush!
and next to the kit built OOB (almost)....
