Title: Austro-Hungarian Hexagon camouflage
Post by: IanB on January 06, 2014, 06:13:52 AM
Does anyone know who makes the most colour-accurate A-H hex pattern decals in 1:72?
There are some Choroszy decals on e-bay, and Print Scale make some, but I'm not sure how accurate they are.

Does anyone else produce these?

Dave Bauman used to make them.  Anyone have his email address?

i have some of dougs in 1/48 and they are quite nice, actually i pushed him to finish the design several years ago when he was interested in making decals. that and his a-h swirl decals are second to none color wise, he worked with several guys including but not exclusive to louis(huberlu) who did some paint matches and used frisket film to paint his berg.here is a link to his build which has paint matches and a comprehensive approach to his method.
