Alcohol, plenty of it...

Only joking.  Hope you find some relief soon.

Let's hope that things resolve themselves Modelnut. You're right that advancing years don't help but back pains can come and go. You have my sympathy.

Best wishes
Nigel

Nigel,
You are correct although mine "comes more then it goes" as I get older!

Welcome to the "Golden Years" however like me you may find them a little tarnished! Hope it gets better.
Cheers,
Lance

Hope it's just a temporary annoyance and you're back in form soon

Find a good chiropractor - well worth the cost. Besides, it could be something more serious causing it...

Agreed on the chiro. As for the massage you've got to find someone that's not afraid to use an elbow to dig the knots out. If you're not crying after a 60 minute treatment, they haven't done their job. It sounds funny writing it, but if you tell any therapist worth their salt to "strip my back" you'll get what you paid for. Having said all that, a physio may be best equipped to deal with what the underlying issue is.

Ever tried "Osteopathy" Modelnut? Years ago tried it out for frequent headaches and was relieved somewhat.

Kind regards
Patrick

Finally made it to my doctor. A sprained back plus a nasty bout of bronchitis that hit me like a ton of bricks.

Not a good diagnosis but at least now it can be treated, hopefully the doctor will get you onto the correct medications and maybe some physio.

Modelnut,
As Des stated, now you can deal with the devil you know. I don't envy you, there's no pain like back pain despite(IMHO!!) what the fairer sex would have us all believe about childbirth!) Take it slow and easy, hope you recover soon.
Cheers,
Lance

Sounds like some rest and maybe therapy (is that a contradiction? ;D) and hopefully
you will be right as rain before too long, Modelnut.  I hope that's the case.  Take care.

Cheers,
Ernie :)
