Last week was our company Christmas party, and so everyone was in town, including the Aussies, Kiwis, and Sprinboks from our Aussie offices. We greeted them in true Candian fashion, with daytime highs around -30 C, and wind chills into the -50s. Lance and Ernie know what I'm talking about lately.
So while we greeted them with Western Canada's finest, including hockey, they left us with some sort of infection from hell. Matilda's revenge? Literally half our office was out until today, and some aren't even back yet. I got away relatively easy compared to those that spent the weekend splitting time between sweating and shivering.
I knew you guys had plenty of things that can kill you down there, but I didn't realize that you really can cook up a batch of sicky-pants, too.
You have my grudging admiration. Well done.

No problems at all Lindsay, we Aussies know how to leave a good impression so we are not quickly forgotten :) :) :)

I've given this topic an awful lot of consideration and have come to the conclusion that Transcontinental travel by air needs to be eliminated and replaced by swimming.... That way only the healthy would arrive! ::)
