Title: Lozenge question
Post by: Ernie on December 08, 2013, 08:44:21 AM
Hi my fellow forumites...
My question is - is there a best way to apply lozenge to a curved and angular wing tip?
I'm going to be using Wood & Wire sheet lozenge, not the cookie-cutter variety.
Thanks so much for any advice you can give me.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Ernie, what works best for me is to trace the outline of the wing on the back of the lozenge bolt leaving an extra 16th of an inch all around, cut it out and apply it with liberal amounts of water.  When in place, dab off the excess water and just let it settle.  W&W decals are very thin and conform beautifully to all contours and curves.  Good luck, buddy.
Cheers,
Bud
