Sorry kornbeef that you can't watch the movie, very strange as it is marked No Copyright Infringement - Fair Use Agreement.
I will still leave it here so those who have access can watch it.

Wow! Fantastic Des! Many thanks for uploading this link. This is amazing footage and well worth seeing!

Some TV networks encode their videos to only be viewable in certain regions. In Australia for example you can't download TV shows from America via their public websites. Some British shows too are restricted. YouTube videos should be vieweable anywhere though so perhaps it's the security settings of individuals PCs that might be restricting it in some parts of the world?

The TVAL documentary played nicely here in Australia.

This can be watched in the UK, but you will need a VPN to do it.

Des,

Can you still access the original movie link you posted?

I have tried to access it using my VPN but have had no success.

I have tried to access it using a VPN server in your part of the world too, but with no result...

Do you have an alternative link?

Best regards,

Dave

Don't suppose you could say what country you are watching it in , so that I can figure out what to do with my VPN?

Cheers,

Thanks Bo,

I was in Seattle a couple of days ago and tried to access it there from my ipad with no VPN and it didn't work.
Then tried Oz, NZ through the VPN and still no joy.
Made sure cookies etc were clean before each attempt.
Will have to scratch my head some more.

Thanks for the feedback anyway,

Best wishes,

DiD

Hi Dave,

I'm sorry, I didn't realise you were asking me at first.  I am in Australia, and I am not too far from Des.  I've worked with Des before on another site which I co - founded.

Regards and I hope you are able to see the clip, it is very inspirational!

David (or Dave - perhaps I should call myself Dave in Canberra!  ;D)

There is a german and french TV channel called "arte" and they created a documentation about the channel crossing, the pilot and the plane.
The film is 90min long and available in german and french language. It will be in TV next weekend (3. October 2021) but already available now in the mediathek:
https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/085379-000-A/mit-fliegender-kiste-ueber-den-kanal-louis-bleriot/

I don't know how long it is available, so view it soon.

Now I would like to start my kit!

Cheers,
Frank

That is a great documentary Frank, thanks for sharing the link.

I already watched it breathlessly this morning. Especially the takes about the replica are worth watching!

Now I'm trying to find out if and how I can download it.
