Nice weathering on those, Gregory! They really look like they've been ridden hard and put away wet.  :)

You have a real talent for weathering Gregory. I need to work up the courage to try this myself but after all the work that goes into building these birds, I've shied away from it for fear of completely fouling everything up.

Cheers,

Chris

True modelling skills on display here, Gregory - excellent work.   The weathering is very good.

My favorite is the Zero fighter.

  Chris,
Thanks my old friend. You should give weathering a shot on an old build, but use plain ol'school kids water paints. Great results can be achieved with no risk to your original finish. If it goes wrong just hold the plane under the tap and she's all clean again in short order.

Those Japanese planes always look a whole lot better when they are aggressively weathered, whereas doing so to the same degree on any other nations planes just does not look quite right.

Greg,
Very nicely done, in fact beautifully done all round. I am really impressed by the panel work (demarcation?) on the Zeke. Spectacular!
Cheers,
