Title: New painting - Curtis JN-4D Jenny
Post by: RussellSmith on April 27, 2013, 04:37:40 AM
Believe it or not, this is my first Jenny. This will be the poster art for the Military Aviation Museum's 2013 Biplanes and Triplanes Fly-In. With a tight deadline, I had to forego my usual preliminary studies and do a Hail Mary of sorts. The image depicts one of the first JN-4D trainers to land at what was Langley Field (now Langley Air Force Base).
