Title: Fokker DVII brown glaze
Post by: stefanbuss on March 27, 2013, 03:41:03 PM
Friends,

I am aware there is already a thread on Fokker's brown glazing that was used to tone done the Flugzeugstoff colours. As that one deals more or less with the question "was there ever a glaze, or not?", i decided to start a new thread.

The questions I have are:

Where was this glaze applied? Already at the factories, or at the Armeeflugzeugparks, or at unit level?

If not applied at the factory (during assembly), was the tailplane included? I think that area is easily accessible...

Kind regards,
Stefan

i would tend to agree with mr. red baron. if it was applied at the factory it would be on every craft. at least every series of crafts in batches. i think it would have been most likely applied at unit level. but this it just an educated guess.
