The photos are from an engine that's kept in the aviation department of the science museum in London. Unfortunately the display room is gloomy and very crowded with displayed artfacts. I had to play a contortionist to get these pictures. The museum also houses an original Morane propellor with deflectors, an Fokker E III stripped of it's fabris in a more or less factory fresh condition ( the pilot got confused on his flight from the depot to his airbase as the circumstances were rather hazy).  The plane was examined by the allies and resides in it's more or less original condition in the museum bolted to the ceiling. There's also a Vickers Vimy, a S.E. 5a in post war finish witout armament and some other engines
