Airfix 1/72 Hannover Cl.IIIa.
I’ve managed to complete most everything I intend to on this one. I may add an anemometer and wind generator later if any mojo returns.
This aircraft did not have solid CDL rib tapes. I think they look ok but really change the overall appearance.

I think the block color patches on the fuselage bottom turned out pretty well. I have not seen this modeled before so hopefully I can convince others to try it.

Fantastic work, Tim -
These ancient kits can really be bought to life (as you have done very well indeed) when investing effort into bringing them to a new lease of life.

What can I add? This is just stunning and very difficult to believe that it is in God's Own Scale and is based on the Airfix oldie. May congratulations on a super build and wonderful colour scheme.

Lovely work, Tim. This looks so different from the ancient kit I built way back on its original bagged release. Magical.

Thank you all for your gracious comments. This kit was a lot more work than I anticipated but rewarding in the end. It will be a long while before I build another as a Cl.III with the Mercedes engine!

I have just passed through your build report on this one and its brother. What a great results you got from such crude kits! Amazing.
